Here you will find a selection of finance-based datasets to practice Text Analysis.

Financial Tweets of Publicly Traded Companies contains information on 28k+ tweets about publicly traded companies and crypto-currencies that are tagged with the company they are tweeting about. The folder contains the following files:

  • A dataset with the tweets, the tweet time stamps, URL of the original tweets, what company and/or organisation made the tweets, and the public company (and its symbol) being tweeted about

  • A reference spreadsheet detailing the company symbols and the corresponding company full name
